The real trick to baking a great Thanksgiving Turkey is not to overcook it, which dries the meat out. Because on Thanksgiving you want to cut in a juicy, moist turkey! So, schedule ahead to get the timing right.
Here’s the recipe to cook a turkey:
- One turkey
- One tablespoon black pepper
- One lemon
- 12 garlic cloves
- apple cider vinegar
- Two onions
- Olive oil or melted butter
- Simply remove the intestines from the opening. reserve the stalk.

- Dry the turkey with a paper towel.

- Use one and a half teaspoons of salt per pound of turkey.

- Place the pan in the oven and roast for 30 minutes.
- Use aluminium foil to protect the breast.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.
- Continue roasting for another 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Switch the turkey to a cutting board to rest before slicing for 30 minutes.
